What we collect

When you request a comparison or a callback we collect the details you provide: your name, contact details, date of birth (optional), connection address, household and energy usage information, current retailer and billing details (optional), and whether a concession card or life support equipment applies to the premises.

How we use it

We use your information to estimate energy costs, show you relevant plans, contact you to complete a switch you have requested, and hand your application details to the retailer you choose (Alinta Energy or 1st Energy) so they can establish your account. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Storage & security

Your details are stored securely in Australia-hosted systems and retained only as long as needed to service your request and meet our legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

Marketing

We will only contact you about the request you have made unless you separately opt in to marketing. You can opt out at any time.
